So here's something that's been confusing me for a long time. Twilight's design is mostly purple from her coat to her eyes. So I figured her hair was just a darker shade of purple. However, using a color picker tool in an image editor shows a blue color. Now I know the exact image used will have an affect on the colors. I generally stick to those that are not shaded by whatever environment Twilight is in. Although for the most part with official images, the same color palette is used. But then you get into fan art and the colors can very with her hair sometimes being a very clearly blue. So I probably had it wrong this whole time and her fair is in fact a dark blue. At the very least it'll mean in my writing, I don't get her hair color wrong and make it look like I don't know what I'm talking about.

Of all things, I even checked out her Pony Life model, in which the hair is closer to purple. I guess the rest of the characters also have modified colors.
