I agree with him. Just don't be bother by rumors, because those rumors aren't true. The rumors about you doesn't truly tell about you. If someone has mistaken something about you, simply explain and tell that those rumor aren't true. As long as those rumors aren't damaging it will be fine.

Besides, things could have been worse.
