The words are lyrics from Batter Up - Brand New. Picture linked to wishcometrue (both of them). There is a disparity between the blog and the thread. Blog says 10, thread says 9. Earlier in the day, there’s a blog from Fiddlesticks, with the title 302575, and the words “brand new”. There’s a hint (?) from Fiddlesticks as well. View above. That’s everything I can see. Feel free to add to it.
something new... but very familiar. remember, these clues are usually more obvious than they first seem
as for this story, its another beautiful entry. having her be forced to stop by injury and age is a realistic and very true way of ending her chapter, and i appreciate this as a sort of lesson. sometimes there arent big climactic neat endings. sometimes things are messy and drawn out. i also appreciate the irony of daring saying their names stay the same. i also wonder if all the paparazzi mean that daring's revealed her secret identity in her old age
And even though the roar died in your throat
The lines get blurred
Lose whoever you once were
Died and returned to the earth
Found ourselves back In love
something new
