Double post 'cause edits don't bump threads.

A very partial map of G5 Equestria has been released as part of a promo image. It's mostly obscured by Sunny and Izzy, but some things of note:

• The main settings are mostly clustered in central to western Equestria, instead of in the center and east like in G4.
• Zephyr Heights is where Canterlot used to be, which is interesting because G4 Canterlot is mostly a unicorn city.
• Bridlewood is on the western coast.
• Maretime Bay is due south of Canterlot/Zephyr Heights, as is notable for two things. Firstly, it's very definitely beyond G4 Equestria's southern borders. Second, the coastline it's on cuts through what's definitely dry land in G4 — going by what I can see, it's probably somewhere in the middle of (what I guess used to be) the Bone Dry Desert.
• There's also an icon for a large city in the north — it's Vanhoover from the old map, specifically — but it has no label and I suspect it's just a leftover from the base map that didn't get cleaned up.

The Pegasi took Canterlot from those snooty Unicorn types ?

I wonder what became of Ponyville ?
If Ponyville will be what the Castle of the Two Sisters was in G4.
