As we all know, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo created Anon-a-miss because they were jealous that their sisters were spending too much time with sunset and not enough time with them. But what if there was another reason, one that would make Sunset feel sorry for Apple Bloom.

A few months after Apple Bloom was born, Grand Pear visited the Apple family with a few other members of the Pear family. He came to Sweet Apple Acres to say that he was sorry for the way he acted at his daughter’s secret wedding and wanted to make amends, as well as propose a peace treaty between the Apple family and the Pear family, which the Apple family agreed to. However, a few days later, Bright Mac and Pear Butter were found dead while they went for a stroll in the park. The investigation revealed that the murderer was one of the members of the Pear family that came with Grand Pear to Sweet Apple Acres. As a result, Grand Pear banished him from the Pear family and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. However, even though justice was served, Granny Smith and Grand Pear both agree that the treaty would have to wait until both sides of the family fully accept it, and the remaining visiting Pear family return to their homelands. When told about this story, Apple Bloom learned the wrong lesson; once a bad person, always a bad person. So when Applejack became friends with Sunset Shimmer, former Queen bee, Apple Bloom decided to take matters into her own hands to make sure that her sister would not meet the same fate as her parents. And since sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were worried about their sisters‘ safety as well, they joined her.
