If Prince was still alive, do you think the makers of the movie would have approached him to play Capper, and if they did, would he sign on?

I can tell you that if he was, Capper’s song would go from being the worst in the movie and end up being the best.

Prince was a good singer. No doubt about it. However, Capper's song was my favorite and Prince singing it would have not been as good in my opinion.

Capper, in my opinion, was one of the best parts of the film. Taye Diggs also performed him perfectly, and the song “I’m the Friend You Need” is one of my absolute favorite songs from MLP.

I guess that shows how much of a division there is among fans concerning the movie. People like it and people dislike it.
