In the good-ol'--days, prudes could justify imprisoning prostitutes because prostitution makes Jesus cry. As society became more secular, prudes began claiming that all prostitutes are slaves. This is rarely true for adult prostitutes.

Florida caught Robert Kraft with prostitutes. Although he could pay the fine for having consensual sex with other adults, he did not want to go to JohnSchool, he fought and won; Florida dropped all charges against him. The women with whom he had consensual sex are not so lucky:
