It's bad enough I'm not a morning person, but if there's one thing for sure? I'm not a Monday person. So, when it comes around to Monday morning, and a coworker is cheerily smiling up at me as my oatmeal boiled over the bowl in the microwave, asking if I had a good day planned, I want to look back in the person's face and go "Yeah, I have a great day planned. It involved setting the printer on fire."

Then they say that phrase. You know the one. You've seen the movie.

And I'm just done. Screw this. Screw yellow happy face buttons. Screw overly cheery optimism. It's a Monday. I'm tired. I haven't had coffee yet.

So, I'd like to officially nominate a theme song for Mondays.
