Star Wars: Rogue One: A StarWars Story turned out okay. Sure, Disney insisted that it follow the new canon, but the writers, producers, and directors cared enough about the Expanded Universe to make it so that it does not contradict the Expanded Universe. Hopefully, Star War: Solo: A Star Wars Story will be good too.
