Why are you so stressed, Crusaders? What is wrong?

Our next episode of Season 6 is coming up and it's a Cutie Mark Crusaders episode again! What will happen to our three awesome heroines this time?
The title of the episode "The Fault In Our Cutie Marks" is a quite serious one this time, which really reminds me on "Flight to the Finish", that gave similar vibes and then turned out as a very sad episode indeed. Except that now, the title hints at even sadder things and has a lot of tragicness to it.
It references a book titled "The Fault in Our Stars", you can read what this book is about here. The phrase itself references one of Shakespeare's works and essentially means to have a bad fate.
What does this mean for our Crusaders? Going by the title, there is obviously something very tragic going to happen..... What will it be?
Is it related to their cutie marks? Will they find out something about them that is a bad surprise? Or will they meet somepony else who has problems with his/her cutie mark and suffers from this for special reasons?
I was doing thoughts about the episode myself already since we heard about the title of it, here's a theory what the episode could be about:

As the link to the book above shows, "The Fault in Our Stars" is a tale about cancer patients and terminally ill people in general.
Maybe Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle meet a pony who has such a deadly disease and won't live long anymore, but doesn't have a cutie mark yet and dreams of getting it before its time has come, so they try and help the pony with fulfilling its last wish?

This would be a plot more serious than the show ever had so far, but is not to rule out, as shows watched by children do this kind of thing and are even more likely to do it than shows exclusively for adults are.
The episode was also written by Ed Valentine again, who has proven to tackle heart-wrenching, tragic and very serious topics when he wrote "Flight to the Finish", an episode dealing with the topic of physical disabilities. An episode with a terminally ill pony is nothing to put past him.
Is it this what the episode is going to be about? We will find out in less than 24 hours, but whatever it is, with that title, it is definitely going to be a tear-jerker in some way, so make sure to keep your tissues ready!

As in the other weeks, we have some preview material of the episode to show you if you can't wait:
