Race: Earth pony
Coat: Bright green
Mane: Darkish blue
Cutie Mark: A blue poison dart frog. It symbolises her talent for studying and dealing with dangerous animals.

History: Poison Passion grew up in the Emerald Isle* with her parents, where she attended school as normal and did very well academically. Upon graduating school, she attended college to earn a PhD in Zoology. After earning it, she moved to Ponyville to study the wild creatures of the Everfree Forest. Upon moving to Ponyville she became friends with Fluttershy due to their shared interest in the workings of the natural world.

Personality: Posion is generally a very sarcastic individual, but she can be spontaneous when she wants to be. Her vast knowledge of random trivia, coupled with her extensive vocabulary mean she occasionally has to be stopped during a conversation so she can explain what she means. She's quite funny in a very dry sort of way, and many of her friends regard her as a living encyclopaedia. She can however, be every bit as venomous as her name would imply when something has annoyed or upset her.

Skills: Poison has a sharp eye and is very good at remembering the details she sees.
Her great passion for nature means that very little it has to offer can frighten her, save for a few creatures (see below)
While she may not be very fit or sporty, she has basic self-defence training. That, coupled with her natural Earth pony strength means that she can offer some resistance, however small in the face of danger.

Notes and Extras: Poison has an irrational fear of spiders and jellyfish.
Poison has a strange accent that leads many ponies to believe she is from Manehattan, when in fact she is not.
Poison is bilingual, but her second language** isn't very useful except in extremely specialised situations.

And thank you for your input. It wasn't until a while after I'd created her that I realised how her name sounded like a prostitute . But I still like the ring of it. I might change it some day...but meh. I only added the Fluttershy thing as an afterthought after someone told me that she was so standard that she didn't stand out at all, and was ultimately forgettable. So I added it to spice her up a little. I probably could have done so in a less obnoxious manner however.
