I believe that Brookie is one of the best writers to grace the brony world. Her characters feel real. They have depth. There is internal conflict. Ever since I discovered What Changes May Come, I knew that she was my fave author. I love how her art reflects traditional China. For whatever reason, I always picture each drawing as ribbons of ink dancing across parchment, a stained glass glow brilliantly shining through. Maybe you think that's some weird thinking, but it's true.

So true. There's some kind of major brony survey going on that I participated in. There was a section that asked you to list who you thought was the best authors, so I naturally added Brookes. The other one I wrote down was Hoopy McGee, but I think I spelled it wrong, oops. I hope more people put her name down. She needs to be on that list.
