How will pyro be introduced as scootaloos father and how will we explain his disappearance for so long hmmm

Oh when she was born he was kidnapped by changelings and tortured which can explain the left eye and arm due to the time he was held he lost his ability to fly and took to pyrotechnics displays as a means to make a living. What do u of that as a explanation for his absence. And his undying hatred of the changelings.
