Pictured bellow are a Hardboiled Monster Detective Cal McDonald and his Ghoul partner Mo'Lock in an ordinary afternoon. Yes this is a crossover.

And this is how they operate.

Now here is the thing. The Idea is to successfully subvert all the cliche's involving the Displaced Fics. By placing an actual heroic (somewhat) character instead of a common cosplayer to actually hunt the Merchant.

This whole thing is brought by Mo'Lock and his fellows in the Los Angeles Ghoul Colony convincing Cal to investigate the disappearances in Comic Conventions between Los Angeles and San Diego. They Confront the Merchant in nothing less than San Diego Comic Con, leading to a insane fight with the monstrous "Plaga" version of the Resident Evil Merchant.

In all. both Cal and Mo'lock arrive in Anthro-Equestria in their beat-up Ford POS. Hunting the Resident Evil Merchant throughout the Equestrian countryside.

With this we get a view of the whole "Displaced" situation and the shenanigans done by the Displaced from the eyes of a Hardboiled Detective and a sarcastic 200 year old Ghoul. Basically pointing out every flaw there is in the logic of the sub-genre and finally deconstructing it as a whole.

So what do you all think? Should I go and do this thing? Would any of you do this thing? And finally, does this trend deserve the Weapon of Mass Destruction that I wish to unleash upon it?
