Why is half the group contributors? What do they do?

It's not that many, I'm not getting any new contributors soon anyway. Besides, it's really more of a badge of honor for them, often especially if they're around long enough or actually contributed to thoughtful discussion or have had firsthand experience with the point of this group or whatever (plus I like to title people for the halibut). Though some of them are supposed to advertise it if need be, so that is something they do.
