(This is a "rough" placeholder with basic info until i have time to really go through and give larger summaries on each characters plus add pictures for visual reference)

Characters Arranged by series:

I have multiple stories in the Wonderverse that are all a part of the time line but take place at different points and feature certain characters. Info on where in the time line they exist can be seen on my front page or at the beginning of each story.

I have kept the Mane six as close to their character as possible, however due to developing characters some may change slightly over the course of the timeline. Otherwise, I have created original personalities for multiple background characters. (I started writing this series after season two… so some characters, specifically Spitfire, Soarin, and Fleetfoot are different than they are depicted in the show because they had yet to be given personalities.)

I have also messed with the heights and sizes of the ponies to make them stand apart physically.

Fluttermac series:

Fluttershy: exactly how she is in the show… only, she is quite tiny, barely above filly size.
Big Macintosh: Huge. Far and away the largest pony in my universe, and just as quiet. Keeps to himself, doesn’t say much, but has a problem with bursts of rage if something continuously deters him or if you cross those he cares about.

Rarity’s struggles Series:

Rarity: no changes
Fancy Pants: Very important individual who seems to be experienced in just about everything. But is he truly perfect? What is he hiding behind the smile?

Braeburn is driven insane by Pinkie Series:

Pinkie Pie: One does not simply… describe the Pink.
Braeburn: Very dedicated and overzealous, however if he messes something up he takes it VERY hard.

Thunderlane and Applejack… the oddcouple series:

Applejack: More or less the same, tends to try and take on too much work on her own, absurdly stubborn, but very strong.
Thunderlane: Carefree and lazy… but if you tell him he can’t do something he’ll prove you wrong or rip his wings off trying.

Twilight family series:

Shining Armor: A proud knight who was once a very clumsy pony. Tends to be sarcastic, but is so in a light hearted manner. Cares endlessly about his wife and Twily.
Cadance: Can’t get enough of the goofball that is her husband, even if she has to smack him upside the head sometimes. Love guru extraordinaire, but has trouble saying no to others.
Twilight: Hard to break from concentration at any time. Looks at everything scientifically, but sometimes it causes her to heavily misunderstand things.

Soarindash and the Wonderbolts series:

Oh man this is a long list…

Head in the Clouds:

Rainbow Dash: Tough, confident, everything we love about her, but slightly more in awe of and nervous around the Wonderbolts than shown in the show. Works as hard as she can to better herself, to become faster and stronger.

Soarin: Member of the Lead Wonderbolt Squad. Very goofy, but knows when to be serious. Very strong for a pegasus, but his pride can sometimes get the better of him, leading him to not look before he leaps quite often. Very protective of his peers and never backs down when it comes to protecting them.

Spitfire: Captain of the entire Wonderbolt organization. Very serious at all times, but Soarin and Fleetfoot manage to get her to loosen up every once in a while. Very strict, and intelligent. Not one to cross without a plan or else she will bury you.

Fleetfoot: The anit-spitfire. Member of the lead squad. Very giggly and silly. A prankster by nature and is always poking fun at those around her. Very confident and a little cocky, but she backs it all up with her skills. You can’t have a party without her.

Rapidfire: Douche #1. Member of the lead squad. Only cares about himself, known for breaking the hearts of innocent mares with one night stands. Often gets into scuffles with Soarin. Very sharp tongue and quick to scoff at and insult others.

Nightshade: Shadowbolt leader. Absurdly sadistic and creepy. Takes great pleasure in seeing others struggle and squirm.

Descent: Shadowbolt second in command. Very large, strong, and tough. Fights like a wild beast. Pride to rival Soarin and follows Nightshade without question.

Starry Skies: Shadowbolt third in command. Grumpy at all times. Prefers not talking to others and absolutely hates being touched.

Flying Sky High:

Fire streak: Captain of Wonderbolt Squad 3. Well mannered and proper. Makes a note to be polite at all times, refers to mare’s as m’lady and detests lazy or disorganized ponies.

Lightning Streak: Member of Wonderbolt Squad 3. Twin brother of Fire Streak and his polar opposite. Rather gross, perverted, and impolite. Tends to hoot, holler, and whistle at mares. Often chastised by his twin brother. (in short: stereotypical college frat boy)

Surprise: Member of Wonderbolt Squad 3. Pinkie Pie with wings. That’s pretty much it.

Misty Fly: Member of Wonderbolt Squad 3. One of the older Wonderbolts at age: 37. A very special and greatly valued member of the Wonderbolts. Why? I simply can’t spoil it ^_^

Rusty Stove: A very strange earth pony cook who runs a popular breakfast diner in a lower class area of Canterlot. Gets a lot of business from the Wonderbolts and is known for running a very family friendly establishment. Rides a skateboard through the diner while taking orders and manages to pull fun shenanigans that would make Discord blush.

Princess Celestia: Went missing after saving Soarin, whereabouts are unknown.

Princess Luna: currently taking on all the duties of her missing Sister. Tends to feel inadequate as a temporary replacement for Celestia.

Discord: Everypony’s favorite divine troll. Often seems to know whats going on, but refuses to ever tell for the sake of watching the ponies figure it all out themselves. Is often scolded by Luna for violating the terms of his freedom, but he continuously gets away with it. Seems to know something about Celestia and he whereabouts, but why would he ruin the plot like that?”

Lightning Dust: back with a vengeance, looking to prove everypony that cast her out wrong… but did she choose a foolish method?

Kayn Ost: a figure in the shadows. No one knows who he/she is or what they want, but they seem to be pulling all the evil strings.

Stop here for spoilers

Piercing the Heavens:

Storm Front: A pony that’s all smiles, but hides a very rough past behind it. He was the product of a drunken night. His mother blames his father for all her shortcomings and kicked his father out of the house. Storm thinks very highly of his father though, because his father made the effort to sneak back often in order to check on him and give him bits he had earned. Storm is very afraid of failure and doesn’t tolerate anyone speaking poorly about family.

Arctic Blast: Utter crazy Soarin Fangirl. Shameless, annoying, rude beauty queen type who thinks the world revolves around her. Literally no positive qualities and the rest have to resist the urge to murder her every chapter.

Arctic Blast (with Lightning Streak):

Matteo: An enormous Griffon who was rejected from the Griffon Kingdom military force known as the Sky Wings… for being too large. He is trying out for the Wonderbolts so all his hard effort and training don’t go to waste. Very stoic and serious. Has a lot of pride. (Griffon culture differs greatly from pony culture. I’ll do a separate post about it at some point, but the short version: Spartans mixed with Klingons.)

Twister: A very strange, very unstable pony who is as mysterious as they come. A male Pinkie Pie with no restraint, and never gives straight answers to any question. Often does strange things that derail the mood or moment of a scenario, and only talks about himself in riddles or cultural references.

Matteo on the left Twister on the right:

Squall: Super grump. Doesn’t like you, your friends, or your family. Strangely likes being chastised by athourity. Comes off as an asshole, but is there something that’s bothering him?

Little Star: Tiny tiny pony. Often mistaken for a filly, but is really 30 years old. Very motherly, making it strange since she has the appearance of a child. Get her angry though, and she explodes like a tiny atom bomb.

Left to right: Squall, Storm Front, Little Star:

Wave Chill: Member of Wonderbolt Squad two. Very soldier like, a yes pony. Follows orders without question. But when things become casual he’s a little awkward.

Blaze: Member of Wonderbolt Squad two. Half sister of Spitfire. EXTREMELY cocky and foul mouthed. Can hardly go two sentences without swearing. Very loud and tends to be put in her place quickly by Fleetfoot.

High Winds: very aloof and always falling asleep. Can’t carry a conversation without yawning every few words. ABSURDLY blunt. Doesn’t hold back insults or comebacks and aims low all the time, but does so very sleepily.

Silver Lining: Captain of squad 2 and currently the oldest Wonderbolt at age: 42. Drill sergeant type, and head of recruit training in the Wonderbolt compound. Can dominate a whole room with his voice alone. Very strict and very intimidating… but behind his job he is very fatherly, and views the Wonderbolts as his extended family.

Air Mach: After naming the story Piercing the Heavens by accident, I had to include this character. He’s basically Kamina from Gurren Lagann. He even refers to himself as Animak (spell that backwards) because it’s easier for his enemies to yell as he approaches (compared to “air mach”)

Silver lining with Air Mach:

Macho Savage: A caricature of the one and only (and late…) Macho Man Randy Savage.

Point Dex: A caricature of Dexter, from Dexters lab.

Pec Bounce: The head of strength training in the Wonderbolt compound. Father of Bulk Biceps.

Blizzard Strike: Silver Lining’s former mentor, brought up often by Silver Lining.

Oc’s of fimfcition users. (not as much focus as the characters above, but they all play a small role. There are multiple background cameo’s by OC’s as well, but none have any impact on the story unlike those below)

Rivet: The small, but incredibly intelligent chief engineer of the Wonderbolts research and development program. Known for building personalized training courses for each Wonderbolt. Often scooped up and forcibly snuggled by Fleetfoot. OC of fimfiction user: Kestrel.

Rivet:

Siren Bliss: The head medical trainer or the Wonderbolts. Runs her training room with an iron hoof. OC of fimfiction user Siren Bliss.

The Mail pony: and orange pony behind the mail counter in the lobby of the Wonderbolt compound. Often finds himself dragged into shenanigans randomly within the lobby. (OC of fimfiction user Lucky 424)

Calm Wind: Enormous pegasus who comes from a family of 99% earth ponies. Very strong and intimidating, but actually incredibly shy. Tends to completely lock up around mares, especially forward ones like Fleetfoot. My OC.

Calm Wind:

Playbitz: Pegasus with strange, two color toned, VERY large wings. A bit of a maniac who enjoys freefalling. OC of: Playbitz

Playbitz:

Swift Justice: Half batpony, half pegasus. His very dark blue color allows him to very easily blend in with dark surroundings. A stealth pony. Very unlucky with mares though. OC of: Azure_Shadow

Swift Justice:

Shine Struck: Small, but a bundle of action. She’s very adept in martial arts and has the uncanny ability to copy others movements. Has an enormous crush on Soarin. OC of: Scootafail

Shine Struck:
