I like economics, but not really the classwork associated with it. The projects in our class are pretty cool, though. Lots of interactive online stuff, like one where you play as the fed chairman and try to stave off inflation and unemployment. It's challenging, of course, but I did well enough, I think. Got "re-appointed", so that's good.

Barring some sudden surge of productivity, I'm going to have to bow out. College work has been devouring my free time. At this rate, I would have to choose between the two, and sadly, college has to win. It's more important.

Well, we're at 2 contest entries and less than 24 hours remaining. Things do not look good.

At this stage, all I can promise is that I'll read and comment on all entries, but unless we get a minimum of 4 entries, there's really no point judging them in any great detail. I'm also taking the silent treatment of several of our more busy contestants regarding the possible 1 week extension as a refusal of the offer.

Like I said, there really is no point whatsoever to judging two stories side by side. I will read both and comment meaningfully, because that seems only fair, but I won't be advertising the only two stories as the winners of anything (since there is nothing to win here). My sincerest apologies for not being able to uphold my end of the bargain, Keam! and Gumball2.

As for everyone else...

Hopefully we'll get a better turnout next time. There will be a next time, and I'll do my very best to pick something a bit less difficult than writing two characters alongside each other (not that I think it's difficult... I actually came up with story ideas for each of the entries just to make sure it was possible).

Hello. I'm sorry to bother everyone, but in case anyone was at all interested in the contests we organize here, I'm afraid those are being moved elsewhere for administrative purposes. I understand not a lot came from this particular contest, but if ever anyone was interested in the sort of thing we do here (which have had success in the past) I'd advise everyone to take a look here where we'll be hosting prompts and contests regularly.
