Lunar Bison

Descended from buffalo transplanted to the moon following the completion of Operation Lunar Hope, these bison have continued to live their lives as their ancestors still do on Equis.

the Ooljééʼ ayání, as they call themselves, are noticeably smaller than their ancestors, and more gangly, due to the lighter gravity of the lunar environment. However, they continue the rich oral traditions of their ancestors, though many young bison are surprised when they find out that their ancestors came from the blue and green sphere.

Just like their relatives on Equis, the Lunar Bison travel in herds across the surface, though the size of the tribes are often smaller than that of their relatives. They still tend to stay away from Luna's Hope, though they may visit the subsistence farms outside the city for trading purposes.

False Unicorn

Goats were among the colonists during Operation Lunar Hope. Like the bison, the goats underwent certain adaptations in the low lunar gravity.

They became more gangly, gaining an antelope-like grace, and some unknown factor caused the development of blue fur ad a single horn in the males.

While most are happy living in the subsistence farms outside Luna's Hope, a small community lives in the nearby forest.

The milk and cheese produced by these goats has become a staple on various equine starships, though the goats who produce it must be kept in special areas mimicking the gravity of the moon.

This city is also where Gundam Pilot Red grew up, whilst he was already extraordinarily strong, due to his growing up there, his strength and abilities, were doubled, once he was used to the alternate gravity he became exposed to on board The Comet
