Essentially I'm writing a story that is a spoof to the shows that involve "Did aliens really build the pyramids?" And the like. The problem is I need a long description. I already have my ideas down of what I want to do, but for some reason a catchy long description is alluding me. Anyone got any ideas?

You mind giving some context right quick for the story, maybe I can help.

5415960 it's based off shows similar to modern mysteries. And they all follow similar steps. Step one, explain the legend or lore you covering. For this I was gonna start of with poison joke and various made up myths (completely absurd ones of course). Step two interview victims/witnesses. For that I was gonna do the main six and recall their accounts. All the while the interviewer is taking what they say completely out of context to make it more dramatic. 3rd step is consult with a specialist (Zecora for the poison joke) and this'll be where I start writing ridiculous theories about where it came from.

I'll summarize the chapter to give you the general voice I'm going with.

Have you ever wondered what exactly poison joke is? Why it cast malicious hexes on ponies, or evem why it's decided to make its home in the Everfree Forest? Perhaps it is there as a guardian of the forest. Used by the forest to sway ponies from venturing further into the magical phenomenon.
Others suggest that it is a magical mishap from a long ago fight between Discord and Princess Celestia.

However local legends suggest that a zebra shaman who lives deep in the woods uses the plant as a trap. To weaken the will of the pony using cheap tricks and pranks. All the while making it easier for them to drain the victim of his or her magic.

Today we are here interviewing Twilight Sparkle. Current resident of Ponyville, magical prodigy, librarian, and victim of poison Joke.

Twilight: Does it need to be so dark in here? And what's with the single bright light in my face.

Interviewer: Please speak your name for the recorder before we can continue the questioning.

Twilight: can we at least turn on some lights first?

Interviewer: (Silence)

Twilight: Ugh, fine my name is Twilight (does she have a middle name?) Sparkle

Interviewer: Good, now are you a victim of poison joke?

Twilight: Yes, but it was all just a big mis-

Interview: Ma'am please just answer the question if we ask you to elaborate we will.

This'll continue on with different characters until I get to Zecora where I basically frame make her incredibly suspicious for the evil shaman that she is.

I'm also worried if this will even be interesting premise for a story. What's your opinion?

Sorry for the tardiness. It's an amazing idea that has a lot of comedic potential. As for the summary, why not make it the opening of the show, like how they would introduce the cast members and a brief breakdown on what they do. This could also be a good chance to set up a set of new characters who would make up the investigation team.
