In other words, how far do these "metal" boundaries stretch before we're not allowed to discuss it here?

The reason I'm asking is because most of the general music genres I like are actually somewhere between rock and metal.

I mean, I'm already in another metal discussion group, and the founder is lenient as fuck. You could talk about hard rock, alternative—Hell, even easycore.

So, what are the limits here? Is it strictly heavy metal, or... what?
