These, of course, are one of the three most powerful creatures in the universe. Terrifying and intimidating, they controlled ponykind for a large portion of its history when it was not subject to being threatened by wild alicorns. They haven't been seen for nearly five thousand years when they returned to check up on the ponies and found that Discord had taken over Equestria. They make their return only a few decades after the events of Black Feather.
