In which Lulu stays up some nights. I'm doing this late myself, and I just downed some tea (no, I am not a coffee person. I'd need all the cream and sugar before I can even call it 'tasty.')
Genre is Slice of Life, and Slice of Life alone.
Wordcount is 1,297 words long. Eh, seen shorter fics. Also seen longer.
Grammar: 10/10. Smooth, short, and concise. It's descriptions of things (namely, coffee) are fairly eloquent. However, it's told without dialogue.
Characterization: 2/10. The reason? It's told, not shown. In lengthy list format consisting of "Luna likes/hates," followed by drivel explaining scenarios and such.
Use of show canon: 1/10. At most, it mentions the moon being raised.
Plot consistency: 10/10, if only because of the aforementioned list format.
Coherency: 10/10. Smooth as butter.
Extra things depending on genre: ... 3/10, for said list format. It tells, not shows. It felt more like a comedy that fell flat to me, though I did laugh at a good butt joke (Royal Sunny D, in case you wonder).
And now, the verdict. The story scores 36/60, or... 60%. It is rejected. Though admittedly, it's a guilty pleasure, due to its smooth flow. If it were longer and less telly, mayhaps I'd have been more generous with the grading. As it stands, though, it flops.
