One of my favorite things growing up was watching the DC AU on tv. Batman, Superman, Static, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. These were some of the best shows and stories ever on TV.

The other night I had the idea of what would Super Heroes and Vigilantes be like in NS? Its an interesting concept because it opens up not only roleplay opportunities but also because it raises the question of how does a government respond to such individuals. Both DC and Marvel have explored the question in their own ways.

DC has Project Cadmus, a government backed response designed to counter a possible super human uprising or coup. The Justice League Typically tries to operate with either the support or oversight of the Government. Marvel usually ends up a little more extreme with the Shield Organization and most famously the registration act which caused the famous Marvel Civil War.

How would your nations government handle such individuals?
