Changelings:

1. Dirt Swimmers

Dirt Swimmers are ground based changelings that were designed after the changelings started to confront burrowing opponents. These creatures are blind, focusing on vibrations along the ground. Their heads are covered in an extremely hard natural armor that allows them to both travel underground quickly while also providing their heads with protection from enemy attacks. Their long sinuous bodies are reminiscent of serpents, although their short but powerful limbs with long claws are still a problem when facing them.

2. Ellén Trechend

Trechends are three headed, draconic looking changelings. These vicious changelings were an early experiment by Chrysalis in her inclusion of dragon and other genes into the changeling genepool. After the initial fall, they eventually escaped and lived in the wilderness on their own before other future kingdom took them back in and incorporated them into their ranks. Trechends make for very good scary line breakers, as their very presence sends shivers of fear down any being's spine. Their three heads give them ample opportunity to turn anyone into a quick snack.

3. Fear Dearg

An impish race of humanoids, Fear Deargs have often allied themselves with changeling kingdoms. They are short in stature and have red caps on their heads. Due to their selfish and mischievous ways, they find working with and around changelings fun and exciting. They often help steal ponies and other races and help replace them with changelings, infamously with children. They are potent with magic and can be bothersome to deal with.

In combat, they are hit and runners. They are very adept at sneaking around enemy units and hitting them in the back or sabotaging their equipment. They are not the strongest magi and certainly not that good in close combat with most foes, but due to their short stature and quick use magic, can be a bit hard to hit at times.

4. Irish Elk

Having bonded with Chrysalis ages ago, and being rather adventurous, Irish Elk often lend their employ to changeling kingdoms that establish themselves. These massive elk are formidable with their strong druid magic. Their armor is hard and sturdy, but light enough to allow them to get into the thick of things and land considerably hard blows to their opponents with their natural strength and weapons.

5. Lancer

Changelings ‘trained’ in the art of lances. They are extremely agile and quick thinkers, able to stab and weave around opponents with ease. Each Lancer is equipped with two lances. One of which can cut through any magical enchantment while the other can deal wounds that will never heal properly. Said effects can be reversed if the weapons are destroyed, but Lancers will do their best to safeguard their weapons. It also helps that said weapons are incredibly sturdy, allowing them to puncture heavy armor.

6. Bowlings

Changelings ‘trained’ with long bows. These long range units are perfectly suited to the task as their far seeing eyes and steady aim can help them land precise and deadly blows to any opposing enemy unit.

Very creative, nice use of Irish Mythology.
