Let's see, putting on a critic hat...

I think I like the top one better than the bottom. The top one could be sorta coming towards me at an angle, where the other one's just kinda looking off to the right. The top left corner bugs me for some reason on that one.

I do like how they both are basically variations of two colors.

They both seem to be floating. They might work better for me if they were standing on something, or maybe had some motion lines indicating they were falling or being propelled up by something. Hmm, maybe it could be lighter in the direction the light is coming from...

I'm probably nitpicking by now. I do like them, as I said, particularly the top one.
