I'm finally back and thought I would post this that I found when looking through my documents. The following takes place during the Press Start side story. I will post more here until I have one that features a MLP character.

Midori Kenchi Bringing The Shrine Maidens DLC to U.N.I.T.Y.: Operation Grasscutter
Written by Pen Ink

The announcement that Railgun Development Ltd. will be handling distribution for Black Sands' first game caught everyone off guard. I have no clue why as The CEO has stated that they will finally be distributing western games for Asian markets. It could be that the reason they think this is that the first game they decided to do this with is from a developer with just one game under it's belt.

The reason I started this is because the next day, Railgun Games posted an announcement trailer for The Shrine Maidens, A rhythm game based on the pop idol group of the same name. A fan transaltion revealed that the members will be coming as DLC for U.N.I.T.Y with a new story mode coming later to buy under five bucks.

The news caused an uproar on social media with people saying that Midori is not taking Black Sands seriously or she wants people to buy her game, not theirs. I find that funny because Midori stated in a post that she sees big promise in them. The other is so untrue due to the fact that many people have interest in buying U.N.I.T.Y. And her game will getting DLC based on U.N.I.T.Y which means this is nothing more then very simple cross promotion.

I managed to get an interview with Midori who gave me more details on the story mode, among other things. She confirmed that it's a brand new story that will feature some of the cast from the main story helping the pop idol group in some missions. And it will have it's own hard mode and you will get an "extra cut scene" once you beat it.

She also stated that the outfits the girls wear in the DLC can be carried over to her game once it senses the save data. A music video and song based on U.N.I.T.Y is also being worked on with Midori working on writing and vocals. The one that surprised me is that Midori and Railgun Game composer, Ayumi Muso, were the founding members of the group which explain them being in the game.

This is something that was edited from something I worked with Carpinus Caroliniana that didn't go anywhere. I really want to work with him to finish this off:

Reel Action looked at the clock. She passed a cup of black coffee to a tired looking Human. The coffeehouse she worked at was called the Black Brew. It was a rather well known Equestriani coffeehouse where a lot of writers and other creative types like to congregate. Just then, the clock chimed, indicating her shift was over. She clocked out and got her belongings. Trotbeck was a small town and she found the pace to be much slower than her days as a movie star. Turning down a road, she found herself at her home. There standing in front of the doorway was two familiar faces from her movie star days: Funny Bones and his wife, Marion Henriksen.

Upon seeing Reel Action, the blue colored stallion trotted towards her and greeted her with a smile, "Hey, Reel. It's been awhile, hadn't it?"

Reel Action looked over the two. "Hello," she said. Her horn glowed as she unlocked the door. "Come on in." She then added, "Sorry for not attending the wedding..."

"Don't worry, I understand." Funny Bone said entering the home of the former starlet, followed by his wife. "Oh..." he started only to conjure up a bouquet of flowers into existence. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Action looked at the bouquet floating in Bones' telekinetic aura. She was so stunned that her own voice failed her.

"Come on, did you really think we forgot your birthday?"
Action Reel shook her head, "No, It simply slipped my mind with everything that has happened these past months." She grabbed the bouquet with her own magic. "Thank you."

"No problem. Well today we will treating you for lunch and dinner. Isn't that right, darling?" He turned his attention to the only human in the room. Marion nodded, her intimidating and stoic appearance replaced by a more friendly one. "So is there any place you would like to go? It is your birthday after all."

Action Reel's stomach growled loudly reminding her that she hadn't eaten yet. "Sure. There is Noodles and Company that opened a few days ago a couple of blocks from here." She looked at her uniform. "Wait here while I go and change.."

This takes place a day before the attack on Clouddale:

Soaring throughout Clouddale, Kanae Kenchi managed to find the cloud that was going to be used as a film set. The human turned pegasus landed, watching the many ponies setting up cameras and the foal actors playing among each other. As she stood there, a mare with glasses walked towards her with clipboard in hoof.

"Name, please."

"Uh, Kanae Kenchi," Kanae answered. "I'm playing Instructor Lemon Wings.."

The mare cut her off before she could finish, "Follow me. he's been waiting for you."

Well, that was rude. She thought following her. The blown colored mare lead her to a a stallion wearing a simple t-shirt and black shorts. His most noticeable feature was his lack of a mane leaving him with a green coat and blue trail.

"Ah, you must be Midori's daughter!" He exclaimed puffing his chest for effect. "It's nice too meet you! I'm your director, Heart Pounder!"

"Calm down! Your making a fool out of yourself!" the mare with glasses complained, giving the stallion a dirty look.

"Sorry, I'm just excited for the project." Heart Pounder apologized returning it with a sheepish smile. The mare rolled her eyes and left the two alone only to give them one last look before flying away.

"Who was that?" Kanae asked, her attention now on the director.

"My wife."

"Ah," Kanae gurgled, only to catch herself. "Anyways, I'm sorry for being late. It took awhile to get used to these wings."

"Don't worry about it as we filmed footage that didn't need you to be in while we waited." Heart Pounder assured the human turned pony.

Kanae sighed in relief, "Should we get started then?"

The director nodded and escorted her to the film set. She knew that she was cast in a bad movie. Despite this, she was only doing this because of her mother investing into the project. Secretly, of course, not wanting to deal with the backlash it may bring. Luckily, her mother used the translated version of her first and part of her family name: Green River.

I might finish this when I have a chance:

Lady Voice Change never looked forward to attending the gala. It wasn't the party itself that she had a problem with, It was the nobles that congregated at the event. All they seem to like to discuss is how much they are better off then the common pony, among other boring topics. Of course, there were nobles she was willing talk too. However, today was different, she looked forward to this year's gala.

And that reason was because of the only human in the carriage with them: Marion Henriksen.

It was funny to think that someone went through all the trouble to decline Marion from attending the gala. It was pretty clear to her and her brother that someone on the board didn't want her to be there. Which made sense as most of the nobles have been very vocal about their displeasure, especially Silver Platter, of her brother's marriage to a human. Luckily, she was able to have an audience with the princess to settle the invitation issue.

That being said, she turned her attention towards her brother, Funny Bones, and his wife. They both were using this time to play a co-op game on their handhelds. She shook her head in amusement, deciding that this was a perfect photo opportunity, she took out her cell phone. She found the right angle once she opened up the camera and took a picture. Satisfied, she posted the picture on her social media then looked out the window. She could see Canterlot Castle come into view.

This was it, she thought. She could already see the faces on the nobles' faces when they enter the ballroom with Marion in tow. They had to accept the fact that Marion is now a noble and there's nothing they can do about it.

"Hey, sis. You ready?" the sound of Funny Bone's voice bought her back to reality. She looked at the red coated stallion and gave him a mischievous smile.

"Ready as I ever be..." Voice Change sang earning a raised eyebrow from her husband, she payed him no mind. "Marion, remember that there are a few nobles that would be willing to talk to you, including our parents. And don't forgot that I'll be taking pictures of our time at the gala."

"I'm sure your fanbase will get a kick out of you in that dress." Funny Bones remarked. Then his tone became serous. "But trust me, Marion. The Grand Galloping Gala is dull and boring."

And with that, the carriage stopped.

Another one I never finished, also takes place a day before the attack on Cloudsdale.

The video opens with a antique ruby colored unicorn stallion smiling at the camera, "Hello, everyone, my name is Pen Ink and welcome to a very special broadcast. Thanks to Midori Kenchi, I was able to sit down with two of the mares that were responsible for the most controversy film in Equestriani cinema, Film Can and Reel. I learned a lot of behind the scenes drama that happened during and before filming, some that even shocked me. Enjoy..."

The scene changes to a small room with Pen Ink siting on the chair while two mares sat on the couch. The mare on the left had a greenish coat with short, red hair and tail and glasses. The one on the right was blue with bright green hair and wearing a red summer dress.

"Before we start the interview," Pen Ink started, his attention on the mares. "I want to thank you both for taking the time to do this."

The blue companion chimed. "We're happy to be here. Normally, we don't do any kind of interviews but with DJ finally being able to enter Equestria and the death of Wire Core, we thought it was time to tell the truth."

"Indeed. Would you like to be called by your real names or human names?"

"Our real names, please," insisted the mare on the left. "The human names we use are noting more then stage names. We didn't have the heart to change our names.... anyways, I'm Film Can, the co-writer of The Converters, and this my sister, Film Reel, who as you all know directed the film."

"Co-writer, you say?" Pen Ink noted. "I'm interested in learning more about that. But my first question to Film Reel is how did you manage to become a director at such a young age?"

"Wire Core," Film Reel stated with a hint of hatred. "He invested all his money into this project and hired us because he saw my short film that my mom submitted to the local film festival. I was the one that insisted my sister to be the writer for the project. I really wanted to do this at the time because I didn't want to wait till I was an adult to make my first big movie. And, well, you know how that movie turned out."

"Really?" Pen Ink asked with an hint of surprise. "Judging from your tone that there was disagreements during the making of the film?" the mare nodded before he give his whole attention to her sister. "Now, Film Can, I have read your short story and wondered how you went from a decent writer at such a young age to this. So the question is was this even the story you wanted to make? And was the other writer, Wirecore?"

"No," Film Can answered fixing her glasses. "The story that my sister and I agreed upon was very different then the one that was put in theaters. We wanted to make a film that showed the good and bad of both of our species. And he hired two human writers because he thought if ponies see that two humans wrote this then it must be true." she added upon seeing Pen's face, "Their names were removed to not get them into trouble."

Pen was silent for a few minutes until he found his voice, "Can you tell us who these two?"

"Marion and Midori...."
