I wrote this analysis of Fallout: Equestria arguing that the novel is unique because it has aspects of both literary and commercial fiction, while published novels must always conform to the rules of one or the other, but not both.

Integral Archer wrote this analysis of Murky #7 and Fallout: Equestria, which takes a careful look at parts of them and points out a crucial distinction between romantic and naturalistic stories. He raises details that are worth considering, although I think his conclusions are mistaken.
