Yo, it be I, the group admin dude. I've been thinking of doing some writing contests for the group with some prizes and stuff (thinking 'bout them Steam Cards), and I wanted to see what you guys thought of the idea. Say I hand out a prompt and give y'all about a month or so to submit a story, and we could either have a panel of judges to pick out a winner, or we could do the whole thing democratically.

What do you guys think?

I think this would be a neat thing to participate in. The voting for the best story or stories should be voted upon by everyone. Not just a select group of judges.

So I actually have a short story ready for release right now. So... should I save it for this contest?

I'm mostly measuring interest right now. It's definitely a possibility in the future, however. I just need to figure out some logistics and such.
