Even though my last contest only got four entries, I greatly enjoyed each story that was submitted. This time, I'm doing a contest that's a bit... finickier.

Prompt: Write a story that takes place in the Lateverse (that does not star Amethyst as the central character).

Rules: The story only has to make sense in context to the first story in the Lateverse. No word limit.

Deadline: June 21, the Summer Solstice!

Prizes: The winner will receive a vector (made using a base) of any two of the main characters in the Lateverse (Amethyst, Limestone, Fleetfoot, Flitter, Saffron, Lotus, Twirly, Twilight). Second place will receive a vector of one of the main characters.
