And I came up with (maybe) a fun premise. So you know how Rainbow Dash is Bat-mare in that one blog? Well Batman has an enemy called Man-Bat, half man, half bat. Which is what basically what FlutterBat is. Man-Bat in at least one continuity is stated that he used Fruit Bats for his mutation, making this connection more obvious to me. So it is it is Batmare vs Mare-Bat.

I know that Fluttershy is Poison Ivy in that blog, but that doesn't matter for the story.

It's just an idea up for grabs.
