Yungas Road. It’s a mountain road in Bolivia. Specifically, the green route highlighted below, which dates back to the 1930s...

... And is also known as El Camino de la Muerte, Road of Death or Death Road. To explain: it’s completely unpaved, has zero guardrails, is barely wide enough for two vehicles to drive side-by-side, has much vision-obscuring dust when it’s dry and is muddy when it’s rainy. Placed along the route are dozens of crosses that mark where vehicles have gone off the edge.

The boys of Top Gear once got to meet this road themselves...

Yeah I heard of this road. It goes to La Paz IIRC. Even though in Bolivia, cars naturally drive on the right side of the road. However when gong on the Death Road, they swap over so that when two cars encounter each other, the driver nearest the edge can tell if they are about to go over the side or not.
