The Goblin Empire takes up what was the continent of Australia as well as several islands surrounding the land mass. The only neighbors they hod are the Apes to the north, though they have never contended for land in the past. Due to their somewhat isolated location, the goblins have been able to grow unchecked for many centuries. The last eradication of goblins occurred during the Fall of the Gods, roughly three thousand years ago when the gods of the world vied for power. Though the population was nearly destroyed, they were able to bounce back thanks to their isolated land mass.

The Goblin Empire is the worlds most advance nation. Because of the lack of war, technological advances are made daily within their borders. Not many travel within their territory, but those that do tell tales of steaming automatons and metal flying beast of smoke and whistles.

The Goblin Empire is not a standard empire. It's more of a corporation. The nation can be divided into five major territories (businesses). Metal works, Agriculture, Shipping, Mining and Gathering, and Arms and Armor making the largest businesses. Though they are ran much like a business, they are more closely related to clans. Each of these clans follow the order of their executor, who in turn follow the emperor (who is the leader of the Arms and Armor sector). This creates the hierarchy of their society.

Goblins are manufactured in the birthing pits, assigned a work type, and begin work. Some may venture away from their assigned work title, but most simple follow through with their assignments. The higher a goblin finds themselves within their business, the higher they become in society. The more a goblin contributes to the technological advances of society, the higher they become in society. In the Goblin Empire, technology is key to everything.

Goblins on average stand around three feet tall, with white hair, and four arms. They are not a strong species, nor a fast one. What they lack in physical abilities they make up for in mental capacities. Even the dumbest goblin may outsmart some of the brightest minds of the world, according to them of course. Without the ability to physically defend themselves, they've had to learn to fend for themselves in other ways, though defense is not always important.

Life for a goblin starts in the birthing pits. What appear to be pits of mud actually regenerate goblins. Even the smallest particle of DNA will, eventually, regenerate into a completely new goblin. Once they're able to crawl out of the pits, they're marked and sent into the workforce. Because of this, workplace safety is nonexistent. If a goblin loses a finger, then a new worker is made. Death isn't something goblins fear. What they fear is losing identity. Destroying the brain will create an entirely new goblin. This also translate into their technology. Fear of being similar has lead them to make the strangest array of technology. From sightless flying contraptions, to thunder-wear, nothing is a bad idea.

All goblins believe that life was created by higher minds. That, one day, their enlightened creators would descend to the lands to deliver them to the stars. They would come in large, magnificent crafts of metal and lights. They would be appear as two long rectangles floating near each other, making a ninety degree angle, with a flat section connecting them at the aft portions of the wings. The inner sides of the wings would be made of two large cannons that could devastate entire nations, with hundreds of smaller guns protecting the sides. The 'Star Traveler' will only come once they are ready for such a journey. So, as a people, the goblins work together to achieve their paradise. But their vessel can only carry so many. Only the most advance people will travel among the stars.

As of now, they fear nothing.
