Hello everybody, and welcome to Fitness Bronies!
This is a group dedicated to losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle. Share workout techniques, balanced diet plans, and overall tips for leading a life away from harmful diseases associated with being unhealthy. We only get one body, we have to take care of it!

I would like to note that this isn't a "Fat vs. Skinny thing", it's much much more. Obesity is becoming a world wide issue, look at some of the statistics:
Worldwide obesity has nearly doubled since 1980.
More than 40 million children under the age of five were overweight in 2011.
More than one-third of U.S. adults (35.7%) are obese.

These are just some of the staggering facts that stem form being overweight!

1. As always, number one is simply the Golden Rule. TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED! This is a group focused on helping out your fellow bronies and pegasisters, not for making fun of each other.

2. Most, if not all posts should be about being healthy in some way. Non-Fitness Threads are allowed, but are asked to not be frequent.

3. No Self Promotion is allowed without permission from an admin.

4. Have fun! And try to learn a thing or two about fitness.

Great idea for a group, I hope to see it catch on! I've been looking in the mirror lately, and what I see sure isn't winter fluff. I knew I had a problem. So it's time to back off on the grains and sweets and stretch out these four legs of mine.

with any luck, I'll only imitate Bambi on ice a FEW times, get more fit, and stop being such a pasture puff.
