I got to admit, my first encounters with band's music before this point never really struck me as spectacular. With the exception of Ace of Spades, I never listened to them that much, and I'll admit, I even thought they were overrated.
Recently though I've been exploring their discography a bit more, and found a few songs, and even albums, that I liked. Still I wasn't quite convinced to rank them as one of my personal favorites.
Then I got the Bastards album, and heard this.
...I was expecting to have a few reactions while listening to Motörhead. Crying like a bitch wasn't one of them.
despite Lemmys claims that the band never really strayed from the same sound (aside from the Another Perfect Day album) motorhead has done many diverse things in their music that youd never expect them to do.

RIP to Lemmy Kilmister, heavy metal god.
