I'm surprised I haven't seen someone ask this on here yet (at least since January). So who's your favorite guitar player?
My favorite is easily Buckethead. There isn't one single song that best describes his music. That makes sense, because he has more than one hundred ninety studio albums. I only wrote that out because I expected some people to think that was a typo. It's not.
Ouch... I'd have to say Tony Iommi (Of Black Sabbath, he CREATED Metal, and he's talented with eight out of ten fingertips!), Eddie Van Halen (Just... Eruption.), or Yngwie Malmsteen (Look up Rising Force. Thank me later.).
since youve already talked about Buckethead id have to say alex lifeson of Rush
just the fact he can play La Villa Strangiato is already a testament to his skill and the fact he was a third of the writing process makes him the most underrated member of the band.

Here's Jordan. Yes, that's a guitar.
Nottingham Lace
Soothsayer

Why do you say that? That looks very much like a standard guitar.
Here's a strange-looking guitar:
But to answer your question, Cole Rolland:

I meant that the guitar in Jordan doesn't sound like a regular 6 string. If you like Cole Rolland, I'd suggest listening to Eric Calderone.

That's actually really cool. He kind of reminds me of Yngwie Malmsteen.

Leigh Stephens from Blue Cheer
4622061 No thanks. I'm not too big a fan of Erock.
He and Cole did do a few collaborative ms, though, and one of them was awesome:
4621956 Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine
Mick Thomson.
while rush may not be a metal band alex lifeson has inspired alot of metal guitarists which makes him my favorite

I have to go with either Paul Gilbert, or yngwie malmsteen
