Hey, everyone, Orion here. I have been taking note of the fanfics, clop and non-clop alike, regarding, as the title says, the parents of one Element of Generosity, and I feel the need to speak it out.

Now, to the point, as I read some of the fictions and come across chapters where parents are introduced, they come up with names that seems okay, but it's not their actual names, and that includes Rarity's parents. Though they never mentioned their names in the show yet, they already have original names produced. So here is what I found out:

Rarity's Father, who by fans known to call as Deluxe Magnum, is not actually incorrect, since his surname is either in question, or never had a surname at all. However, he also goes by the original moniker, Hondo Flanks. So for him, Hondo Flanks or Deluxe is who Rarity's Father actually called.

As for the Mother, her name is definitely NOT Pearl Belle, though understandable because she and Sweetie Belle are related. Her name is actually Cookie Crumbles, but also goes by as Betty Bouffant.

Now, I am not bringing this up just to tell writers to change the names in their stories that already introduced them, because that is their choice, but only to let readers and possible future writers in the know about these things. Hope you will find this information useful.
