Have you noticed none of the CMC have a typical family life? Sweetie Belle is being raised by her "big sister"/secret mom or her parents are off on vacation all the time, Apple Bloom's parents are dead or missing and Scootaloo's parents are absent. Due to the fact that all the Mane 6 come from two parent households (even AJ before her parents died), this is not typical for Equestria. Is there a link between an atypical family situation and difficulty getting one's cutie mark?
