I commissioned this video on how to deal with a lack of love and appreciation for your stories from a friend, Ckat_Myla. I wanted to share it with people who feel under appreciated as authors, though it works for any content, so I am posting it here in the hopes that it can help some people who are feeling underappreciated.

This video was thoroughly interesting. I hadn't previously considered many of the points it raised. The whole "holding your story hostage" bit reminds me of lyrics from a Dream Theater song:

You are caught up in your gravity
