A country rich in culture, the Crystalline Raj is separated from the rest of Khaan by the highest mountain range in the world, and is large enough to be considered a subcontinent.

the Raj's population is mixed, consisting of ponies, Glamourlings, Yeti, Ganesha, and several others. This is relatively recent, As to this day it is an isolationist nation and has thus far been keen to avoid entangling itself with much of other countries beyond trade.

Much as how the majority of the changeling kingdoms are ruled by a Queen/Empress or King/Emperor who controls all of them (Chrysalis, and then Staghorn after her), the whole of the Crystalline Raj is ruled by a Shahbanu ("Queen of Queens"). Unlike with the Changeling Empire, the Glamourling ruler is always female.

Glamourlings are the most prominent race in the Crystalline Raj, and are treated as upper-class citizens.

The native religion is polytheistic, centering around the idea of reincarnation.

an interesting note is that the Crystalline Raj was also home to one of the earliest unicorn kingdoms. Historical records are scarce, but they had tricolor horns, white at the base, Black in the middle, and crimson at the top. records indicate they were larger than Equestrian unicorns, as the horn is described as being a foot and a half in length. their heads were red, their bodies white, and they had blue eyes. Sadly, the name of this race and their kingdom been lost to history. the closest we get is that ancient Glamourlings called them "one-horned asses," the donkey kind, of course, as an insult
