The teacher I had, Xeraphis, has a son in a different dimension, by the name of Pyris. Xeraphis was essentially the king of a changeling hive in that other dimension, and due to various wars they have grown to hate humans. Xeraphis will be cold and calculating in the reboot, as well as extremely wary of everypony else around, and he'll be raising his son to be that way as well. Pyris will generally be shy or distrusting of others, but he'd definitely open up to somepony if he had to. I guess in the beginning I'll have him be lost and searching for his father, which maybe Sketch could help him in. But things between Pyris and his father are definitely going to get pretty dark after a while.
