Firstly, I'm no story editor. However, I have read it, and I liked it.

I liked the idea of the story. It seemed to progress well, and tension was built up ok. You did kinda kill said tension with the ending, but at the same time, I thought it ended quite nicely, and allows for any continuation. As I read through it, I liked how the monster tries to get to the protagonist, and it worked very well.

As for improvements: you kinda switched between first and third person narrative (from what I remember), and, like I said above, you built up tension to just kill it and have it wasted. Otherwise, it was a good fic

Yeah I noticed that shift in perspective. I gotta change it.

The ending was meant to make people question the entire story. Was it a real monster? Or was it the mental construct of a mad pony. :P
