Oh, according to the myth, Uchchaihshravas is a winged horse. I guess the wings are under the saddle for some reason.

EDIT: My bad, Uchchaihshravas was a winged horse in heaven. Indra severed Uchchaihshravas' wings when he sent him to earth to become the King of Horses apparently just to keep him from flying back to heaven. That's why there's no pictures of Uchchaihshravas with wings.

Nah, Sleipnir are horse with 2 extra pair of legs. While Uchchaihshravas are horse with too many head, and severed wings.

Since Slepnir had Loki as his dam, he's technically half-horse, a quarter giant and a quarter easir. (Or 'just' half-giant depending on what version of the myths you prefer regarding Loki.)

And that's not even getting into whatever Slaipneir's sire Svaðilfari might have actually been. Normal horses aren't exactly fit to be ridden, let alone worked, by giants after all.

So quite the pedigree. Almost no wonder he's the horse of horses.

And yeah, his dam. Mythology is fun!

And as an side, I wish the Marvel movies had gone there. Just imagine the jokes and drama!

I can answer that since I used Sleipnir in one of my stories.

The answer is No. There is no evidence that these two are hybrids.

The thing with some myths is that the people that created the myth would choose one creature over another. Despite Sleipnir having siblings like the serpent, Jörmungandr, Sleipnir is a horse, of course.
