I'll dig into this when I get home. I suspect that coder65535's answer is the solution to your coding problem. The answer to the character tags is "a lot". I can't give you a precise answer because the numbers for character, crossover universe, and content are all intermixed. I'll have to learn how to cobble together something that will produce an answer for me.

Edit: It is as I thought; Coder's solution works just fine. You still have to convert the names to numbers or else otherwise derive the names from the tags (perhaps via the href attribute), though.

Edit 2: I went ahead and created a scraping script and scraped all the tags from zero to five hundred. Both the script and the results are at my workspace.

I feel like it ought to be possible to automate the process of finding new pictures for all those tags. The script for finding the names was only sixteen lines long, minus the comments. That's probably a terrible idea, but I might take a swing at it anyway. How hard could it be?
