Spike has been depressed since Rarity turn him down. He goes see Fluttershy and tries to forget but not much, Fluttershy is happy to have him around. Shy wants to tell him her feels but backs down on it. Night falls and Spike was about to leave till he hears a low hiss noise. He turns around and see two red eyes staring at him. Spike backs up and rans outside where the moon shines bright enough for him to see who it is. But what he didn't expect was the owner of the eyes was Fluttershy or the now Flutterbat. Spike tries to talk to her to see if it still her but the only thing she can do is hiss. Spike tells her his name and repeats it to her. She surprised him by trying to say his name. Spike began to think that maybe he could try and teach her how to talk and maybe be friends with her. Spike noted that she has some of Fluttershy's traits in her like kindness, loves animals, shyness, ect. Later he starts to have feelings her and shy since their the same. though when she begins to talk abit for some reason she says some words with the word bat in it or do bat puns. Spike wants to show her his other friends but remembers the first time they meet. And Rarity...well later she finds out that he found somepony else to love and she feels happy for him but starts to be jealous that Spike didn't tell her the name of this pony. And for Shy she knows what Spike doing and believes he could help with her other ego.

This is a non-clop story and this could by a anthro or pony.
this is still a Flutterspike fic since shy tries to tell Spike her feelings for him.

This is a good idea, but I think that if you had Fluttershy not like Spike in the beginning it could be a bit more interesting. At first it would only be Flutterbat (who could be like a second identity or an entirely different entity) who liked Spike, and Fluttershy just let Spike be with her other half in order to be a good friend and make him happy. Eventually though, Fluttershy's normal attitude would start to come through in Flutterbat, until eventually it was just Fluttershy being Fluttershy and starting to like Spike, just with bat wings and red eyes and so on.
