So, for those of you who know about the party girl NPC, she's obviously a reference to Pinkie Pie. She has the party cannon, the obnoxious personality—she even has her mane. But what if I told you there was another possible reference to FiM in this game?

It's the Dryad. One of her possible names is "Celestia." Now, I'm not just saying that becuase of the name alone. Let's compare the two:

-Dryads, much like Princess Celestia, are graceful and very powerful magical creatures.
-Both are creatures of myth—Dryads are Dryads, and Celestia is an alicorn.
-Dryads are spirits/guardians of trees, and the Dryad NPC's goal is to cleanse the Corruption/Crimson and spread the Hallow. In MLP, Celestia is the Goddess of the Sun, and her job is to not only raise and lower the Sun, but to protect the people and nature of Equestria from evil forces.

And, of course, there are the more coincidental and/or insignificant similarities, such as:
-Both are female.
-Both are very old and possibly ageless—according to one of the Dryad's quotes complaining about the gunsmith flirting with her, she's over 500 years old. According to the lore of FiM, Celestia is over 1,000.
-Both are designed to appear very elegant or pretty.

What do you think? Is the Dryad's name a reference to Sunbutt? Or is it just a coincidence?

Also the Pet Turtle might be a reference to Tank.
