The port city of Hoofington was once just a simple city, enjoying an economic boom after the return of trade with the Crystal Empire. But now crime has risen throughout the city and with it the rise of organized crime group.

With a new princess by her side Celestia has chosen to enact new laws to create a world of true harmony, she has begun this by outlawing the many vices that lead to disharmony in the lives of her subjects. But with this she creates a demand that can only be met with supply from illegal means.

Now crime families have arisen with the prohibitions enacted by Celestia against Alcoholic cider and the crushed powder of Poison Joke plants. Crime syndicates have risen to answer the people’s demand for vice as the prohibitions continue. along the families only grow in power and influence until they become a threat to stability and worse yet, to each other.

RP Will be somewhat free roam. From time to time I may take the role as one of the crime bosses in order to give missions.

The Technology is steampunk-ish. With steam trains existing with magic and 1940’s guns.

Choices of Crime group.

- The Stripes: Mostly Zebra group that came from across the ocean and brings any number of potions and herbs, especially Poison Joke Powder. This family is steeped in traditions from their old home but has adapted to their new home and only speaks in rhyme to members of their blood family. Share the port with the Crystal Daggers. Run by the disgraced son of a tribal chief from Zebrica.

-Crazy eights:On loan family that’s willing to do many despicable things from prostitution, to hits on entire families, children included, for the right price. Everyone hates them but at any time may need them. They are made up of all kinds of races with varied backgrounds but what they share in common is the willingness to do crime and kill at the drop of a hat. Their favorite tactic is firing tommy guns while driving by their target. Has no leader, run mostly by popular vote or the offer of money.

-Crystal Daggers: Made up of crystal ponies smuggling crystals and diamonds through the citie’s port. Very secretive and only made up of crystal ponies or a few trusted diamond dogs. No one else allowed. Semi xenophobic and see everyone else as common criminals and that what they are doing is a service for the rich and powerful. In exchange the Crystal daggers gain political favors and money from jewelry stores. Weak alliance with the stripes but would rather take their turf for themselves. Run by the cousin of a crystal mine owner.

-Cider Flyers: Made up mostly of flying races, Pegasi and Griffons for example. They deal mostly in Cider but dabble in Poison Joke Powder from time to time when they could sue an extra money boost. They are the least troublesome of the groups, just choosing to bring the people what is unfairly denied to them by the establishment. Run by a griffon Smuggler who somehow got lucky through the years and developed his group.

Introduction: The introduction will take place at a meeting between the representatives of each group meeting on neutral turf. Or on the way there. The meeting is to bring the demands of their faction's leader for negotiation. Weapons are allowed but must be holstered. All our characters will meet and talk then leave to go about their business and possibly fight one another that is partially up to you.

-Sneaky Nimbus Breeze: A runner/delivery boy for the Cider Flyers transporting and sneaking things into the city for distribution. Most of his skills come from former guard training. Thanks to family friends from his father and other friends being in the guard sneaky was able to get connections in the local police to help smuggle things in for the group.

Weapons of choice: Pistols (9mm) and brass horseshoes (pony equivelant of brass knuckles)

User: No Sneaky knows what the stuff does to ponies and would rather not.

Relationship status: Taken. Dating his partner Fiona and wants to marry her eventually.

Desires: to leave the business and settle down on the frontier, possibly near Appleoosa, with Fiona, raise a family.

Fears:when Fiona goes into a rage or of his parents finding out what he does.

-Fiona Fire Feather: Fiona is the muscle that the group needs sometimes, she can be paranoid and at times fly easily into a rage but never at those she loves or respects. When she flies into a rage she is barely able to keep herself in control until she kills something or lets her anger out someway. She has fun breaking things and causing other mayhem on behalf of the gang and joining Sneaky or any of the others on their runs when they need some muscle. She had a very good upbringing and claims she isn’t crazy, she’s just different, not that anyone can prove either way.

Weapons of choice: Molotovs, baseball bats, shotguns.

User:Only once, didn’t like it and went back to smashing heads open.

Relationship Status: Shares same apartment as Sneaky and enjoys him as a lover. She isn’t sure where their relationship will go but is willing to go anywhere so long as he is with her.

Desires: Make money and have fun, satisfy herself with Sneaky and make a name for herself in the history books.

He ran until he had no where else to go, then he was offered protection by "less than legal" members of society in exchange for work. Quick now does multiple jobs, everything from messenger to muscle, just trying to keep the dark whispers at bay, and not always succeeding.

Weapons of choice: Madness. Once the darkness seeps into his mind, anything and everything can be a deadly weapon.
