A story about ponies exploring the Cloudbreak Islands, a realm of magical floating islands populated by many new sapient species. So far the ponies have made friendly first contact with trolls, fishpeople and golems;

and hostile contact with dark elves and cyclopses,

with a lot more species to come. The strange native dragons, with powers and personalities quite different from the dragons of Equs, make an apperance in an upcoming chapter.

It's a fairly long story with a substantial prologue, so if you'd like to skip straight to some first contact, try this chapter.
