Chrysalis was behind him as Maleficent followed with Jason. Team Dark took the path home, as sad as it was Chrysalis did admit that their world needed them. It was going to be very vacant in Castle Maleficent after they were done teaching Doom a lesson. However Chrysalis noticed how quiet Maleficent was. She hasn't said a word ever since her encounter, it's almost like her mind was still processing the gall of Dr. Doom for doing something that underhanded. That or...something else. Chrysalis sat next to Maleficent on the bus and said "He's wrong you know. YOu aren't weak"

Maleficent just looked at Chrysalis and then back down in somber silence.

She still said nothing, almost like she's catatonic. Chrysalis said "She's been like this all week. She barely eats, and she's always been in her cauldron room "She sighed "Maleficent please say something"

Maleficent was as silent as Jason as she looked out.

Except...it wasn't turned to rubble, the crystals just bounced off, which was odd. Chrysalis said "We cut the power right?"

Still nothing, which was even more odd. The Castle was empty, there was no technology in sight...yet they have a force field up, one that blocks magic too

"That is so weird' Chrysalis said quietly "Doom is a lot of things, but a coward he is not. It's not like him to hide out from a battle" She looked around and then paused "Unless" She looked closer and her eyes widened. "That's not a shield made by Doom!"

Chrysalis said "That must be a shield made by some sort of magic. Doom's more of a technology kind of guy so I wonder why a there's a magic shield up" She said trying to figure it out. "Dormmamu maybe?"
