I want to write a story about ALS, to raise awareness of it to everyone on the site who sees it. I am not going to use rainbow dash or Pinkie for it, what with every sad story involving them always being about their wings or inability to make others smile. I need a different pony.

I am thinking either Twilight, Celestia, or Discord, but if you guys have any suggestions, please help me out.

I think if you want anything to be serious, Discord is best kept out of it. Except maybe if you're in ancient times, then maybe you can get away with crazy-evil, but that's still not really the tone you probably would want.

I suggest Applejack. Why? I have no idea.
