We all know them for their usage on JU-87 Stukas by the Luftwaffe. Will they sound different or similar if installed on a jet though?

I don't know how they'd sound on jets but I knew a guy who put reproduction trumpets on his cropduster. They sounded fine with that. I think with a jet, because they're externally mounted, that'd just be more drag.
If I ever buy a jet, I'll install one of those.

I'm sure there could be some way to recreate the sound without putting an actual one on a jet. Hell, the pilots in WWI used whistles on their wingtips to scare the enemy. I'm positive there's something a modern jet could use for the same effect.
